DVR Studio 1.75 hang up

Hi,
I have probelm with DVR Studio
The end of the logfile is

Start building Video Title Set ( VTS ) ... - 2001
Title - 1
Start building VOB streams - 2210
Muxing elementary streams is in process ... - 2220
Initializing audio packets ... - 3005
Initializing MPEG 1 audio packet ... - 3020

Can you please tell us where is the problem and what we should do to pass the action?

In DVR-Studio 1.x there was a problem with recordings from channels that use non-DVD compatible GOP-lengths. A GOP is a so called Group Of Pictures, normally consisting of up to 18 frames for DVDs. Unfortunately in the DVB-Standard for satellite and cable tv up to 64 frames are allowed. In recent times TV-channels started to use bigger GOPs in order to reduce bandwidth.
In DVR-Studio Pro 2.15 we incorporated a fix for the 3rd party DVD-authoring module we are using. Unfortunately this fix cannot be applied to version 1.75. And: even IF DVR-Studio is able to create a DVD, almost all DVD-Players will refuse to play these DVDs as the material is way out of DVD specification.

As our software doesn't change anything in the source material - it mainly "repacks" it - there is nothing you can do about this.

If you haven't tried - download DVR-Studio Pro 2.15 and try with that one. But please test with your DVD-player if the result plays fine.

Hi Kimi,
thank you for advise. I have asked my father to try it, but he said that the software report that DVR Studio 2 was installed allready more than one year ago and so it is not possible to test it for us. Is there existing any licence key like extension the trial for next 30 days, that we can test it?

You could do the following:
search for the Program directory of DVR-Studio Pro2, look for the file dvdlibx.dll .
Then copy this file to the Program directory of DVR-Studio Pro 1.75

Now just try what happens.

Hi, so we have tried it and the result is now hung in some different place. Today we had also available some other laptop, so we have installed lastest DVR-Studio Pro2 and it again hangup, but again on different place. Now it was somewhere around 56% of processing.
