Transfering .hav to MPG or DVD

Beitrag von Maveric » 30.05.2006, 11:49

I have a brand new Handan DVB-C 6000. I have USB Downloader installed and I'm able to copy .hav files from my box to the computer.

DVR-Studio Pro (trial) can open the .hav-file, I can edit the saved data (cut etc), I can navigate the whole scene.

I tried to use DVD Wizard to make a DVD suitable files from the scene. Wizard starts MPEG demux, runs it and after that, software just "dies". No error messages, no information, nothing. It just shuts down.

After the prcocess explaned above, I have .m2v and .mp2 files, named as the original hav-file on my disc, I have a directory created during the wizard operation, there is one mp2-file and one m2v-file, both named Title-xxx. Also there is a VIDEO-TS-directory, holding one .vob-file, sized 64 kb.

Size of the files:

Original .hav: 2,6 Gb
Title-0.m2v: 2,2 Gb
Title-0(0x02A8).mp2: 116 Mb
VTS_01_1.vob: 64 kb
Free space on my HD: 5,5 Gb
Software version: 1.00 RC5

Obviously that package is not working!

Any good advices to get this issue fixed?

@Maverick:

apparently the software version 1.00RC5 you use is outdated by over a year. The current version is 1.15, please uninstall the old version and download and reinstall the latest version from our website.

Yes, I uninstalled the old version and put the new on on the roll. Now it is working.

Thanks!
