I just found some other "signs" of the problem beeing caused my Dilog-receiver, instead of by DVR Studio.......Another swedish user reported that the Dilog DT550-PVR has been known to sometimes distord the recordings it makes.....this would by all means let Haenlein Software "off the hook".....t...

I am sorry that U have the problem too, but glad at the same time, because then perhaps Haenlen-Software understand that this is something
that needs fixing, if they want DVR Studio to be sold.....

I find myself checking this forum all to often just to see if anybody has a sollution...Kimi...You obviously got some example-files from Kimi, of files that had this problem...is there any hope for us?

YES! That's correct, those troublesome recordings do all have two audio tracks, didn't think of that!

Thx anyway.....the reinstall is already tried. A few days ago I removed every trace of DVR Studio Pro, but unfortunately without any improvments. This isn't the end of the world, mostly just irritating. Will try a few more times, all it takes is time....and who needs to sleep anyway, I will do that ...

The file is some 3,3Gb large. I have transfered it....probably 4 times.

OK, now I have "demultiplexed"...... Got a whole number of messages like Detected TS packet sequence error @0x00000000 23FE0E30 , where the red text differed and only 1 row at the end like: Not a valid TS-packet found at position 0x00000000 24162C22 can any conclusions be drawn from this? Hi! "Remove temporary files" is chosen, so that isn't causing the problem. Theres no messages during demuxing, this is what I "get": Demuxing Title 1 User forced Aspect ratio to 16:9 Create VOBs: Title 1 Placing nav-packs... Creating menu ..and then the "small" .VOB-file is created..... :cry:

Now this has happened again......the .hav-file that I process doesn't "match" the created VIDEO_TS-files!!!! There MUST be some TEMP-files stored somewhere, that interferes with the create DVD.process!! I'm transfering a movie, "White Nights" and the created VIDEO_TS -file shows a 14 second long dis...

Ok, did that, renamed the file AFTER it was transfered over to the PC.
Checked it with DVR-Studio Pro..it seemed perfect. Used the DVD-wizard, without burning....but STILL got the distorted VIDEO_TS-file....this is SO strange!
Is there anything else I can try?

Hi! You mean that I could use the DVR-Studio program without burning A DVD? Would that be the "Create MPEG File" in the program? (Have no DVD-RW-disc, unfortunately). The "batch-processing" is not checked, so I don't use it.(and it's empty too anyway). The name could match that of an olderrecording?...
