With recent updates, players now have more structured ways to earn shards, moving beyond traditional Abyss farming.

How to Earn Stigma Shards Efficiently

Your approach depends on your level, gear, and whether you’re comfortable in PvP-heavy zones.

1. Transcendence Dungeons

These dungeons are now the most reliable source for high-tier progression. Loot tables have been updated to include Unstable Stigma Shards and fragments, giving a consistent reward for dedicated runs. If your goal is steady growth, prioritize these dungeons daily.

2. Abyss Contracts & Command Quests

Completing Abyss Contracts offers a solid stream of unstable shards and Abyss Points (AP). Command quests in Reshanta also provide AP, which can then be exchanged for shards. This method is ideal for players who want a balance of PvE and PvP rewards.

3. Active Farming Zones
The Abyss (Balaurea & Reshanta): NPCs here have a high drop chance for standard shards.
Fortress Areas: Locations around Miren, Krotan, and Kysis fortresses remain classic farming spots, especially if you want to gather quickly while participating in PvP skirmishes.

Upgrading and Using Stigma Shards

1. Substance Morphing

Use the Substance Morph system to combine Abyss Points and Transcendence Stigma Fragments into complete Stigmas. Keep in mind that the process has a success rate (around 20%), so plan accordingly and don’t waste your materials.

2. Unstable Shards

The new Unstable Shards, obtained from Ascension Trials and Hidden Cubes, are key for mid-tier upgrades. You can synthesize them into permanent Stigma Shards, making them invaluable for progression.

3. Equipping and Master NPCs

To equip or swap Stigma Stones, visit a Stigma Master in major cities. Each stone requires a set number of shards based on its skill level. Note: shards used in equipping are consumed and not returned when you unequip a stone.
