GBSAT File Compatability

I have a GBSat 2CI20 sattelite Rx PVR. This records its video as .pvr files.
These do not seem to be compatible with DVR-Studio Pro although this PVR is listed as a supported machine. I have tried changing the file suffix to others that are suppored but this didn't help.
Does anyone know if I need to do anything special to get this to work?

Additional info:
I can convert the .pvr files to mpeg with a utility program but this is no help.
I also have a topfield TF5800PVR and its files work fine so DVR-Studio Pro is insatalled OK.

We hat a report from some customer that this works with DVR-Studio. I remember something, that you have to switch on some option in the recording menu. I'm not sure if it was something like "record all audio tracks". Furthermore earlier software versions didn't store in the right format.
