Hello, I have DVR Studio Pro 1.01 installed and I get the following error message: 'Es wurde ein ungultiges Argument fest gestellt.' Earlier the program just froze while I was creating the VOB's (step Creating IFO files)
once I removed all the temporary files and re-istalled the program without changing any of the path parameters I started to get the above message.
I have used a much earlier test version (can't remember which one) of the program and I managed to demux and actually burn couple of DVDs. I have had the problem now for a while and my TF5000PVR disk is getting close to full. It would be nice to be able to move some of those files to the DVDs.
Can you help me?

@yngve
Please use the uninstall Item in the DVR-Studio Program group. This does really clean the installation. Just removing all files manually is not a proper way to do it.
Then reinstall the current version and leave all settings unchanged for a first test.
Have you tried different recordings and from differend TV-channels, especially Free-TV? I asume it's more a problem with the recordings for DVR-Studio.

Kimi, thank you for your response. I uninstalled the program using the provided wizard and re-installed it from the downloaded file. The problem still exists. I have tried programs from two satellites and from different transponders. They all behave the same.

@yngve:
is it possible, that these filenames contain special characters like \ * / : etc.? Try renaming the files to something like "movie" in the receiver first. Make sure the filename is longer than 4 characters.
Just a guess, because I'm a little out of options.

Kimi, all of the files contained either 'space' or - 'minus' sign. I remaned one of the files so, that it didn't have any special characters in it. Unfortunately the process stops wit the same error message.
Demuxing goes OK, but when it's time to create the VOBs, the it stops.

I manged to create ONE DVD yesterday by using the automated wizard and reading the file directly from the TF5000 HD, which was mounted on my PC. The filename was originally without any special characters.
:) UNFORTUNATELY today, when I wanted to create more of the DVDs, the program now crashes by the time is to write the VOBs without giving any error message. I hadn't made any system changes between yesterday and today..... I tried cleaning and re-installing the program (tried it even with the German version). I changed the file names using TF5000 own tools before attempting to create a DVD. :(

Now I'm out of options. Did you try the same recording?
