Edits to PVR and TS files (Kaon 1000).

I have been testing DVR-Studio Plus to cut adverts and remove the few minutes before and after programs I want to archive. After making the changes to the TS file I have tried edited the matching PVR file to reduce the file size (bytes) and also the ending time but I have had lots of problems when I copy the files back to the Kaon. Often the times / size of files don't seem to work exactly, and the Kaon reboots when approaching the end of the edited TS. Is there an easy way to edit the PVR to exactly match the "new" TS file?
Many thanks for any ideas... indeed is editing the PVR file safe to do??

the problem is very likely to be caused by a header at the start of the file. As we have no documentation from Kaon about it's content it stays unchanged or even gets removed. This for sure confuses the receiver.

This function is mainly intended to be used to reduce the size of the files on the PC and not moving the back on the receiver.

As we support over 100 brands and models it would be impossible to support every file format for write-back. And without proper documentation it is uterly impossible.
