Hi. When I create an MPEG file from a clip saved on my computer from a Humax recorder, there is no sound. But when I Demux to MPEG I get two files, and the audio plays fine. I haven't tried to burn to DVD yet. In the window under the Create MPEG File button there is only one option: MPEG1 st (std, 256kBit/s). Can anyone help?

Verything looks fine so far. You should try to create a DVD. But use RW-Media for the first tests.

Thanks Kimi. But I want to keep MPEG clips on my computer that I can play with sound as well as burn to DVD. Is this possible?

Normally yes. The test is intendet to find out if there is sound on a DVD-player.
Basically creating an MPEG-File is almost identical to creating a DVD. What I want to find out is, if there is a problem with your software-player.
So if the DVD plays with sound on a stand alone DVD player then DVR-Studio Pro works, but your software player doesn't. If the DVD is without sound then we have to investigate further.
Does this happen with all recordings also from totally different TV-channels?
