Hi
I have a Homecast 8000 and got the DVR-Studio Lite version of the software with it. In it it said that all features were enabled, but I cannot write to DVD. Also, the Help it installed seems to be for DVR-Studio Pro, so it is of no help.
My questions are....
1. Is there an upgrade to ver 1.0
2. Can I write DVD files
3. Where can I get help, as this version is not listed anywhere on this site.
Cheers
Poida

Hello Poida,
DVR-Studio Light has no DVD processing. Therefore you need DVR-Studio Pro or better DVR-Studio HD 2.

G'day Ralf
Oh, that explains that! My next questions are:
- I also got DVR-Studio Pro 2 with a 60 day licence through Homecast. When I last used it (3 days ago) it said I had 21 days left, and I got a message that said that there is a new version available
(2.15 where I had 2.10) so I allowed DVR-Studio to update itself. Now it says that my trial period is over
! Can I get the 21 days back?
- In Australia we have HD and SD broadcasts on the same channels, and some of my recordings are HD and others SD. So far I've only used DVR-Studio Pro 2 and it's been able to encode/whatever/DVD all the programs I've recorded. Do I have to have the HD version of the product to make DVD's from HD broadcasts or is Pro 2 sufficient? I don't really want to have two products if I can help it
.
Thanks
Poida

Hello Poida,
no problem. Please send me al mail with the serial number, shown in the startup window.
For HD you need DVR Studio HD 1 or DVR-Studio HD 2. You can test it too.
These program can both: HD AND SD
