I'm using DVR-Studio 1.12 with a Topfield T5800 .rec file. I use the DVD-Wizard functionality and do not use the Express DVD option. I then take all the defaults on the 'Next' pages. When I view the DVD (either via the VOB files on the hard-drive, or via the DVD in my DVD player) there is quite a lot of stuttering (i.e every 10 secs or so around a few tenths of a second are dropped).
The original recording on the topfield is fine
Are there any settings I can change either in DVR-Studio, or in XP that I can change to reduce this effect
Best Regards
Pete
Video stuttering in final DVD
Thanks Kim,
I had got my version from your website, but I saw that there was a newer version. I downloaded and installed that.
I remade the DVD. This time, DVD was stuttering, but the hard-drive files after I manually demuxed were fine.
I then re-burned the DVD, but selected the lowest burn speed available, rather than the default (which was 4x). This cured the problem
I am happy that the fault is not the software. Thanks for your help and for an excellent product

This is strange. Can you please download the software from our homepage again and reinstall it? There are some "unofficial" versions in the internet which can cause this effect.
If this doesn't help: which TV-channel is this recording from? How many audio tracks?
