Application crashes with no warning

I have installed the trial version, and sucessfully created 3 or 4 DVDs. The last two attempts have failed, and the application just quits with no warnng at all. I have been using the DVD Wizard, and the application quits about 30 seconds after beginning the 'demuxing' phase of the authoring process. The last few lines of the (detailed) debug file read as follows:

Demultiplexing recording to separate MPEG ES:
First Video PTS is 0:00:01,240
First Audio PTS is 0:00:02,169
First Audio PTS is 0:00:01,255
Channel::Add(): PES Buffer Full!!!

Any clues or advice on how to rectify this?
