Diablo 4 U4GM: Etna's Lost Dagger Rogue Build Tips

Beitrag von luissuraez798 » 09.07.2026, 10:33

Etna's Lost Dagger has become one of those drops Rogue players keep checking for, especially if you like builds that lean on Imbuement and mixed non-physical damage. If you are farming for it, it helps to know where it actually comes from and not waste time chasing the wrong source, even if you're also picking up Diablo 4 runes along the way.

The dagger is Rogue-only, so nobody else can equip it. Its unique power kicks in when you deal two different kinds of non-physical damage. Once that happens, your Imbuement Skills get a big boost in potency, your non-physical damage goes up too, and Basic Skills become Imbueable. That last part matters more than people first think. It changes how a build flows. You can do more with your opening hits instead of waiting for a bigger setup.

For Season 14, the most reliable target source is Harbinger of Hatred's Hoard. That is the reward chest tied to Harbinger of Hatred, a Greater Lair Boss. To open the hoard, you need a Greater Lair Key, and you will need to be in Torment difficulty. The item is not guaranteed, so do not treat this like a one-and-done run. It is a loot pool target, not a fixed reward.

How to farm it without wasting runs

If you want the cleanest route, keep the process simple and repeatable. Most players do better when they stop overthinking the boss and just build for fast clears and safe hoard openings. Here is the basic order that makes sense in practice.

Push into any Torment difficulty first.
Collect Greater Lair Keys before you start the farm.
Run Harbinger of Hatred and clear it consistently.
Open Harbinger of Hatred's Hoard and check the Rogue loot pool.
Keep farming if Etna's Lost Dagger does not drop right away.

That route matters because Harbinger of Hatred is where the Rogue-specific Season 14 drops are listed, including Etna's Lost Dagger, Shrouded Gift, and Scoundrel's Leathers. You may also see Mythic variants connected to boss loot pools in Season 14, which makes the chest even more worth farming. Still, that does not mean every Unique turns into something better every time. It just means the pool has more value than a random world drop.

In actual Rogue builds, the dagger fits best when your setup can trigger its condition without much fuss. Flurry Rogues can use it well, especially when Shadow damage from skills like Caltrops helps set off the effect. Heartseeker setups can also slot it in as a dual-wield option. If you already like fast attacks, short windows, and Imbuement timing, this weapon feels natural. And if you are managing gold while swapping gear, Diablo IV Gold can be handy when you need to reroll, test, or keep a build moving without stalling your farm session.
